With nearly 25 years experience in healthcare technology, Jason is a serial healthcare IT entrepreneur, focused on launching disruptive products that drive digital health innovation and value-based care outcomes. Jason’s career includes leading data-driven product development, corporate strategy, business development, strategic partnerships, technology implementation, and solution portfolio commercialization.

Amongst Jason’s most recent experience at Inovalon over the past decade, he served as a senior executive supporting the Company from start-up through IPO. As Executive Vice President and Chief Strategic Development Officer, Jason led development for several blockbuster products at Inovalon and marketed expansion of the Company’s technology presence across the healthcare marketplace. Jason’s deep experience includes solution development and implementation for managed care, providers and government. Prior work experience includes Cerner, Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, Inspiris and Ardent Health Services.

Jason earned his Master of Health Services Administration (MHSA) degree from The George Washington University School of Business. He also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Radford University.

Cyndi joined AdhereHealth in 2011 and has more than 20 years of healthcare expertise focusing on product strategy and leads the Company’s technology-enabled clinical services delivery nationwide. Cyndi was previously responsible for quality, Star Ratings, regulatory compliance, and accreditation activities for the Sterling Life Insurance’s Windsor Health Plan. Cyndi’s previous experience includes oversight of regulatory compliance and Joint Commission quality metrics for St. Thomas of Nashville, a multi-hospital system.

Cyndi holds a BS in Nursing and a MS in Healthcare Administration from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. Mrs. Alexander is a former Baldrige Award surveyor, a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) through NCQA, and currently sits on the advisory board for NCQA SNP surveys.

Gregg guides AdhereHealth’s financial performance and growth as Chief Financial Officer. His experience covers financial operations, strategy, M&A, public and private equity, banking, risk management, and P&L execution at public and private businesses in healthcare, financial services, and technology.

Before joining AdhereHealth, Gregg was CFO of Avalon Healthcare Solutions, a laboratory benefit manager serving health insurers and providers. Over three years, Gregg helped grow Avalon from a start-up to a sizable market leader, raising equity and debt capital and structuring value-based arrangements that drove significant cost and quality improvement. Previously, as a senior financial officer of WellCare Health Plans, Gregg helped double revenues and generate significant stock price appreciation. This included Gregg leading several profitable acquisitions delivering multiple billions in revenues and the company’s first public bond offering of $600 million.

Gregg also was COO of a hospital revenue cycle outsourcing company, as well as a stock analyst and growth equity investor covering pharmacy benefit managers, specialty pharmacies, and healthcare IT companies. Earlier Gregg had a long career with GE Capital, including as CEO of a standalone division providing technology and financing services nationally to small businesses. Gregg is a non-practicing CPA and earned an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BBA with distinction from the University of Michigan.

Kent joined AdhereHealth in 2013, bringing over a decade of operational, consulting, and business development experience for the healthcare technology industry. Kent’s leadership at AdhereHealth includes business development, strategic partnerships and product strategy.

Kent came to AdhereHealth following multiple successes with AIM Healthcare (now a part of Optum, a United Health Group, Inc. company), rising to National Director as it expanded into new markets. Kent was a key player in Optum’s growth strategy representing solutions for both providers, managed care and government entities.

Actively involved in the community, Kent currently serves on the Board of Directors at BrightStone, Inc., and as a Stephen Minister. Kent holds a BA in Psychology from the Miami University and a MA in Counseling from The University of Toledo.

Managing large-scale, multi-personnel projects, business financials, risk management for C-Corporations and LLCs, in addition to business strategy and corporate compliance.

J.R. has worked on legal teams with the Walmart Corporation, Bassett Law Firm, and LogoGarden.com.

J.R. is a graduate from the University of Arkansas, School of Law, where he had a number of accomplishments both inside and outside the classroom. Prior to attending law school J.R. graduated from Arkansas State University with a Bachelors in Philosophy. While at Arkansas State University he was a two-sport varsity letterman in both Football and Track. J.R. received a Masters in Business Administration from Tennessee Tech University with a concentration in Finance.

Kenda is responsible for AdhereHealth’s operations, technologies, and products. With more than thirty years of experience Kenda has a passion for team-building, problem-solving and organizational planning. Prior to joining AdhereHealth, Kenda held C-suite and advisory roles for large healthcare providers including Johns Hopkins Medicine, MedStar Health and technology start-ups, including Voalte, BioLucid, and FavorHealth. She has also held leadership positions at Fortune 20 companies AmerisourceBergen Lash Group and McKesson. Kenda has led numerous EHR, IT and systems transformation and implementation successes, as well as strategic and organizational development initiatives. Kenda is a veteran executive and entrepreneur across public, private, venture capital, and non-profit platforms.

Kenda earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from University of Baltimore and a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from University of Maryland.

Kempton currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Data & Business Analytics at AdhereHealth. He leads a multi-disciplinary team of data scientists, report designers, operational process experts, and data analysts to meet current and future market needs using all enterprise data.

Kempton previously worked at Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield where he received the New York Presidents’ Award and participated in the WellPoint Emerging Leader Program. He was a two-term Lecturer at Columbia University, and has co-authored work published in the Journal of Biomedical Informatics. Kempton holds a BA in Economics from Washington & Lee University, a Master’s in Public Health from Columbia University and a Master’s in Medical Informatics from Northwestern University.

Kempton serves on the Percy Priest Elementary PTO as Co-Treasurer is a board member with the Center for Living and Learning. Previously, he served on the Board of United Cerebral Palsy of Middle TN, is the past Chair of the Board of Friends Life Community, and is the past Alumni Chair for Montgomery Bell Academy’s Annual Fund giving campaign.

Previously, Tom served at the Director of Product Management at eviCore Healthcare and at Humana as a manager within their Senior Products Department.

Tom received an MBA from Vanderbilt University, and holds a BA in English from the University of the South, Sewanee. Tom is actively involved with Montgomery Bell Academy’s Alumni Board and has served as the class Chair for the Annual Fund giving campaign. Tom has also served with the Board of Junior Achievement of Middle Tennessee, working primarily as a fundraiser and classroom teacher.

Previously at Aegis Sciences Corporation, a rapidly growing forensic toxicology laboratory in the healthcare industry, Rachel joined the leadership team responsible overseeing the entire Human Resource department with direct oversight of Recruitment, Benefits, Policy and Procedure Administration and Compliance, HRIS Administration, Performance Management, and Employee Relations with a keen focus on Employee Engagement and culture enhancements.

Ms. Howard earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resource Management from the University of Southern Indiana and a Masters in Human Resources degree from Lipscomb University. She holds a Professional in Human Resources certification and is a member of Middle Tennessee Society of Human Resource Management (MTSHRM) and National Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).

Prior to joining Riverside, Michael served as the Managing Director, Operations, at the Gores Group, where he focused on growing it’s Industrial, Technology, and Medical sectors. Prior to that he served as CEO or President of SCi Languages and Suntron Corporation.

He began his career working in technology with Hughes Aircraft Co.(now Raytheon) as well as ran large divisions at United Technologies and Sony.

Brian conducts transactions within Riverside’s Micro-Cap Fund. He focuses on raising capital and performing diligence on investment opportunities as well as partnering with Boards and management teams to achieve additional growth.

Charles N. “Chip” Kahn III is President of the Federation of American Hospitals, the national advocacy organization for investor-owned hospitals and health systems. He has held this position since 2001.

Prior to the Federation, Chip was one of the leaders in the health insurance industry serving as Executive Vice President and President of the Health Insurance Association of America (HIAA). Chip has a distinguished career as a professional staff member on Capitol Hill specializing in health policy issues. He has served as Staff Director for the Health subcommittee of the House Ways and Means Committee. On this committee, his efforts helped form the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the Medicare provisions of the 1997 Balanced Budget Act. Chip later served as a senior health policy advisor to former Senator David Durenberger, (R-MN), as well as a legislative assistant of health to former Senator Dan Quayle (R-IN).

Chip serves on the Boards and Advisory Committees of various organizations including the University of Michigan’s Economic Research Initiative on the Uninsured, the Partnership for Prevention, the Center for Studying Health Systems Change and the Robert Wood Johnson Health Fellowships Program.

Mr. Kahn teaches health policy at The Johns Hopkins University, George Washington University and Tulane University.

Mr. Kahn received a B.A. degree from The Johns Hopkins University. He also holds a Master of Public Health degree from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, which in 2001 bestowed upon him its prestigious “Champion of Public Health” award. Mr. Kahn is a member of Delta Omega, the honorary society for graduate studies in public health.

Mike Kane is the founder and principal of Kestrel Asset Management, a Philadelphia area investment firm that operates three limited partnership investment funds, including one dedicated to private equity companies.

Mike is the former Vice President of Kane Is Able, Inc. a third-generation family-owned logistics company based in Scranton, PA. His responsibilities included strategic planning, financial management and corporate governance.

In addition, Mike is a member of the Leadership Council of PathNorth, a national CEO group; the Business Leaders Network, a Philadelphia CEO group; and the Institute for Private Investors, where he is a member of the advisory faculty.

Mike received his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and his doctorate from Boston College.
